Transformational Tools
Healing. Trusting. Growing.
There are endless tools and practices available to support personal growth.
I have highlighted a few practices that have proven to be the cornerstone of deep transformation in my life. It’s been a gift to share these tools with my friends and clients, partnering with them on their healing journey.
Take a long gaze at your beautiful, sexy-self. Adore yourself. If you do this, I promise you, your view will change.
Tools for Self-Adoration
Two of my big life challenges have been one, dealing with weight and body image issues and two self-worth / unworthiness. I have made amazing strides in both of these areas. First of all, I think one of the most important tools in loving and accepting my body has been a willingness to really look at myself. It saddens me how so many women (and people in general) hate looking at themselves in the mirror and say such mean and unkind things to themselves. The first step in losing weight and/or changing your body image is doing mirror work.
MirrorWork
Looking at yourself, really truly looking at yourself. I mean, take a long gaze at your beautiful, sexy-self. Adore yourself. If you do this, I promise you, your view will change.
While I was raised in a household with tons of love, thank goodness, I unfortunately was taught the belief of less-than. I took on this badge and have worn it with pride for many years. What I learned through the teachings of Science of Mind and the spiritual principle of oneness is that my belief of ‘less-than’ is a total lie and I needed to let that story go. Mirror Work is a tool I continually dedicate myself to. Through practicing Mirror Work, I have gained a much deeper acceptance, belief and trust in myself.
“It is done unto you as you believe.”-Matthew 8:13
Tools for Remembrance
I am deeply grateful to have been raised in a household where prayer was a daily occurrence. My prayer life has definitely evolved over the years from praying to the bearded dude in the sky to using affirmative prayer. I have witnessed the miracle of prayer seeing my prayers and others being answered. What I have come to know about prayer, is that ALL PRAYER WORKS. As the scripture says, “It is done unto you as you believe,” Matthew 8:13. This is really where the power in prayer lies — in your faith, consciousness and belief.
